On Monday, April 18, 2011, Fellowship Health Resources (FHR) hosted an Art Exhibit at the Falmouth Art Center, located in downtown Falmouth, Massachusetts. The Center’s newly renovated space was the perfect venue to showcase the work of Studio 35 artists.
At Fellowship Health Resources, we recognize the therapeutic value of creative expression in an individual’s recovery plan, and have successfully incorporated the arts and music into our services for many years. In 2010, we formalized this effort with the launch of Studio 35, a diverse arts and music recovery program designed to enrich the lives of the individuals we serve, our staff, and members of the community.
Fellowship Health Resources’ Artist and Peer Mentor Gary Hudson states, “Studio 35 is open to all persons served who wish to express themselves artistically. This Exhibit, composed of a variety of paintings and photographs, marks the first time Studio 35 showed its work outside of the mental health arena.”
FHR President and CEO, Joe Dziobek, welcomed visitors to the Exhibit where they had the opportunity to view and purchase the work of artists Jack Creamer, Mark Libby, Eileen Kearney, Mary Munsell, Jeffrey Zurlinden, John Ward, Carolyn Hansen, Bruce Botelho, Robert Cohen, Steven Leppard, Marie Petraitis.
We are sincerely grateful to Susan (Suzy) Bergmann, Executive Director of The Falmouth Artists Guild, and to the Art Center for the opportunity to share the work of Studio 35 with the community.
