PRISM Certification Training

Fellowship Health Resources’ (FHR) Taton Learning Institute (TLI) is pleased to announce that PRISM Certification training has begun. PRISM is a cognitive conceptual model of treatment that is person-centered, respectful, individualized, strengths-based and mission-driven. Lois Cortese, Professional Development Program Manager for the Southeast, and Susan Logan, Professional Development Program Manager for the Northeast, are overseeing the training. In addition, there is TLI Adjunct Faculty in many of the regions who will be presenting this training to FHR staff.
Adjunct faculty have attended train-the-trainer sessions, and are very excited about being part of the FHR PRISM Certification training process. Much of this excitement is derived from the fact that some of the trainers have been a part of the PRISIM development process since its conception. Involvement has included participation in focus groups, assistance with the facilitation of the focus groups, and contributions to chapters in the PRISM Modules.
All FHR staff will receive copies of the three PRISM modules, Engagement, Assessment, and Treatment Planning. After completing the trainings, staff will receive a certificate of completion and their own prism to hang in the sun as a reminder of FHR’s model of treatment.
