Falmouth, MA – July 11, 2011 – Fellowship Health Resources, Inc. (FHR) has hired Mildred “Mil” Johnson as the new Regional Director for Cape Cod and the Islands. With an undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Central, and a Master’s in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, Johnson currently pursues her Doctorate Degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s University while expanding on her 17 years of social services leadership at FHR.

There are over 12 FHR offices for Johnson to oversee in her region. She plans to implement FHR’s strategic plans and goals while building upon the previous experiences that she has had. “I was the Chief Executive Officer for Standards-Based Solutions in North Carolina for more than 12 years,” Johnson says. “I will do a lot of the same work here at FHR with community-based programs and outpatient services.”

Cape Cod and the Islands is just one of the nine regions that FHR serves as a mental health and substance abuse treatment agency along the east coast.  “I relocated back to my parents’ homeland,” Johnson said. “This position allows me to live and work on the Cape. It was the perfect opportunity for me; there’s so much potential for growth in our programs and I’m really excited to build upon the deep roots of FHR that already exist here.”
