Neil’s Place offers transitional residential housing for individuals who are able to live independently with minimal assistance, and are actively receiving service from Fellowship Health Resources. Housing is one of an individual’s most basic needs. Neil’s Place offers independent and supported living skills, home living skills, vocational training, interviewing skills, employment preparation skills, instruction on how to access public transportation, relationship-building with family members and the community, and housing responsibilities. Individuals have the choice to participate in any or all of these services. These services positively impact the residents and help them work toward recovery. Neil’s Place is transitional housing offering a limited number of individuals the opportunity to grow, learn and have an improved quality of life. Neil’s Place provides stable, low-cost housing for individuals on limited income. It is a supportive environment where individuals have their own room and share common areas in the home, separated by gender.

The emphasis at Neil’s Place is on improving residents’ mental health and well-being, offering an active rehabilitation component. They may be working part-time or volunteering in the community. Individuals living at Neil’s Place must be receiving at least one FHR service and be actively working toward recovery.

Fellowship’s goal is for each resident at Neil’s Place to have an improved quality of life, find employment or volunteer opportunities, move forward toward recovery, and to eventually move into their own individually-leased home.
