Attending the day program at Towne House in Fall River, Massachusetts, for so many years, Carlos P. actually forgets when he first arrived. Always there to help anyone in any way he can, Fellowship Health Resources’ Fall River Network recently recognized Carlos for his dedication to others.

Carlos is an independent and hard-working individual, who is never without a smile on his face. A cook and a dishwasher at Towne House, Carlos remains dedicated to his work at the program and within Fellowship. His recovery advocate, Jennifer Andrade, has found Carlos to be a great model for any new members to follow. “Since working with Carlos I have noticed that he always tries his hardest in all that he attempts to accomplish,” Jennifer said. “This includes learning English as a second language. It’s a pleasure knowing and working with Carlos.”

Adam, a staff member of the day program, knows Carlos as the “Burger King” because he has been cooking up some of the best burgers he has ever eaten! Carlos enjoys his reputation for making the best burgers at Towne House, but equally enjoys “making everything for everybody.” Carlos reports being “thankful for all of the nice people at Fellowship,” and continues to work towards his treatment goals and, ultimately, his independence with encouragement and support.
