Charitable gifts help Fellowship consumers achieve greater independence and quality of life.

Fellowship Health Resources, Inc.  receives public funding to provide a variety of residential, educational, clinical and therapeutic services to individuals and families affected by mental illness. While public support provides the adults we serve with the basics, public funds are not sufficient to cover the cost of the extras we're committed to providing.  Enhancing our programs and creating new ones depends largely on private support.

You can help us bridge the funding gap by making a tax-deductible contribution to Fellowship Health Resources, Inc.  Your contribution goes directly to assisting individuals in need.  Private contributions help us to:

  • enrich and expand our services
  • enhance our residences, clubhouses and treatment programs
  • recruit the most qualified care professionals
  • train the next generation of social service staff

Past Fellowship fundraising initiatives have allowed us to provide educational scholarships and social and recreational opportunities for the consumers we serve.  Funds raised have been used to purchase new vehicles, furniture and other household items for our programs.  We are currently seeking funds that will help us to continue to provide social, educational and enrichment opportunities to our residential consumers, upgrade furniture and equipment at our clubhouse programs and provide housing subsidies to consumers who are in need of stable housing.

We invite you to make an unrestricted gift Fellowship Health Resources, Inc. today. Donors may identify particular programs or groups of programs that they would like their gift to support.  Making a tax-deductible contribution is easy; here's how:

Other Ways You Can Help the Fellowship and Those We Serve:

Help us enrich our staff - Refer a qualified person to work in one of our residential or clubhouse programs.  We are always interested in interviewing qualified, caring professionals to serve adults with special needs. We offer excellent benefits and career development opportunities. We especially welcome inquiries from minority candidates.

Employ a consumer or spread the word to an employer - The Fellowship offers job training, placement and support for more than 200 adults with mental illness each year. Our clubhouses and vocational support staff continuously seek opportunities for community based,  meaningful work for consumers. If you know of opportunities for our consumers to further develop skills, earn money, and thereby achieve greater independence, please call us!

Support a fundraising event - Friends have volunteered their time, service and money to support Fellowship fundraising events, including golf tournaments, car washes, flower sales, yard sales, etc. Your generous investment of time, talent and resources could result in a major gift and will promote community awareness of our work.

Remember or honor a loved one with a gift - Memorial and tribute gifts are a lovely expression of your fondness for the person remembered or honored and your support of Fellowship Health Resources.

Give a gift of securities - Giving a gift of mutual fund shares, stock or other assets that have increased in value in a successful market can result in significant tax benefits.

Name Fellowship Health Resources, Inc. in your will - You might consider leaving a percentage of your estate, a specific dollar amount, or a piece of property to the Fellowship in your will. The gift will reduce estate tax obligations and will enhance our services in future years. Call us for a helpful guide to estate planning.

Ask your employer to match your gift - Many major companies will double or even triple the gifts of their employees to nonprofit organizations. Ask your Human Resources representative about your company's matching gift program. If a program does not currently exist, suggest the benefit be considered.
