One in five families in the nation is affected by mental illness. Fellowship Health Resources, Inc. is a major not-for-profit agency providing both clinical and support services to persons recovering from mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and other life challenges in the states of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. Over the past 32 years, The Fellowship has enjoyed an admirable reputation and significant growth in the communities we serve. The Fellowships staff is dedicated to delivering and coordinating excellent comprehensive community-based services that promote independence, stability, and increased skill levels to our clients. The key to our success is mainly attributed to our quality in programming, staff, and philosophy of treatment. Since opening our first group home in 1975, we have helped many thousands of individuals start new lives of dignity and purpose.
"My son was struck down by schizophrenia when he was 17. The illness was compounded by addiction to drugs and alcohol. He spent the next 21 years in and out of psychiatric hospitals. When the Fellowship came to Seaford in 1990, it was the answer to what was needed to help my son stay out of the hospital. I truly believe that this care has saved his life." Patricia S. Family Member
"In terms of both philosophy and practice, the Fellowship has the highest standards and has been consistently effective in service to consumers and their families." Nicki Sahlin, Ph.D. Former Executive Director National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Rhode Island
