Fellowship Forensic Services
Fellowship Forensic Services (FFS) is committed to aid in public safety by
working with criminally involved persons through rehabilitation and
reintegration programs, as well as educating criminal justice staff about
behavior health practices.
FFS offers mental health programming consultation,
workforce development services and offender psychoeducational programming for
correctional systems and facilities. With our consultation and reorganization
services, we can aid in the development of mental health programs, policies and
procedures to help your facility achieve and maintain accreditation. Fellowship
Forensic Services can construct programs to fit your facility’s individual
needs. We have a proven discharge-planning and diversion program model, aimed
to reduce recidivism rates for mentally ill inmates that can be tailored to
various communities.
Therapeutic & Psychoeducational Groups
FFS offers a variety of group topics aimed to help in the
rehabilitation process of incarcerated and/or detained individuals. Examples of
groups offered are: Anger Management, Criminal & Addictive Thinking, Domestic
Violence, Drug and Alcohol Education, Interpersonal Communication, Stress
Management, Violence in Society, and Women’s Trauma.
Corrections Workforce Training
Training is offered to correctional
officers, counseling staff, and other facility staff to educate them about
current practices related to mental illness and behavioral management, and
provide them with the skills necessary to manage difficult populations in a
correctional setting.
Consultation & Reorganization
FFS consultants will assess and improve
upon a facility’s current mental health infrastructure, as well as assist in the
development and implementation of behavioral health policies and procedures.
Mental Health Treatment
FFS currently conducts psychiatric
evaluations and provides mental health counseling and medication management for
individuals on Federal Probation in the State of Rhode Island.
Community Reintegration Services
Diversion and discharge-planning program
model that offers support and advocacy to individuals with severe and persistent
mental illness in criminal justice systems.
Productive Citizenship Program
Eight-week program geared toward preparing
incarcerated individuals for release back into the community. Covers topics
such as: Communication, Values, Relapse Prevention, Anger Management,
Employment Skills, and Setting Goals and Sobriety, among others.
Drug Court
Fellowship is currently the primary
referral target for intensive outpatient drug treatment from Drug Court in Wake
County, North Carolina.
